World of Warcraft Cataclysm Launch Charity Event
|
Rob Flaska sent us an email to to tell everyone about a special Cataclysm charity event he is organising for the launch. Rob is organising a 48 hour LIVE Broad Casted wow marathon to try and achieve the first level 85 character. The event will be running live from a local internet cafe and ten players will be involved. MMOGamesite has posted a ¡®leaked¡¯ product slate for Blizzard titles this evening. As you can see the next expansion according to this chart would be mid 2012 and another the following year in 2013. The event is taking place at the CGC Lan Center located in the city of Lake Forest, Orange County, California. If you¡¯re in the area go along and show some support, or just as good dig deep and send the guys a donation for the charity. There is a whole schedule of events taking over three days and it sounds like it will be fun.We have to file this under rumour because nothing is confirmed and no concrete source has been cited but it¡¯s interesting as it fits in quite well with our own predictions for Blizazrd releases for the coming couple of years. Not that we know of course, only Blizzard do and things always change. The challenge is being organised to aid the Wheelchair mission project, an organisation that sends wheelchairs to those in need all over the world. There will also be contests, give-a-ways and in-game footage of the event.
